Tip #7: Protect Your Wealth with Low HP
Posted in Tips & Tricks on May 9, 2009 by kingdomslivetipsBefore ending a session go to battle and try to get your health under 26hp. No one can attack you if you are below 26 health.
Tip #6: Know Your Enemy

Tsun Tzu's The Art of War
Sun Tzu once said
If you know the enemy and know yourself you need not fear the results of a hundred battles.
Sun Tzu’s advice applies to Kingdoms Live. When going to battle first select an adversary with the fewest soldiers. Then click on their name and check their inventory – if they have a stack of armor and defensive spells don’t waste your time. Instead go for easy pickings.
Roam the adversaries – if you hit on someone who you defeat and gives you lots of gold attack them repeatedly instead of going to a new adversary.
Tip #5: Spending Money on Bounties is Pointless
Posted in Tips & Tricks on May 9, 2009 by kingdomslivetipsIf you have a vendetta against someone forget bounties. The person you put the bounty on doesn’t even know who raised the bounty.
Once you’ve set a bounty there seems to be no visibility into the result.
Bounties are a great money pit. The only way to benefit from bounties is to exploit any bounty set by someone else.
Tip #4: Getting Wealthy
Posted in Tips & Tricks on May 9, 2009 by kingdomslivetipsLand is a key way to get wealthy. Each time you finish your battle and quest sessions stash your money in the vault. Don’t leave your cash exposed.
Save up using the vault, avoiding spending money unless you’re really not winning any battles, until you can afford each new piece of land.
Try not to buy more than 2 of each item of land as the return on investment starts to really tail off with the price increases.
Quests: Quests are the most risk free of getting wealthy. Always ensure you’ve got just enough mana, soldiers and weapons to complete the quest with the highest gold reward. Skew your skill points to ensure this.
Ensure each session you always do the top quest. Then stash the gold in your vault.
Tip #3: Avoid Needless Upkeep
Posted in Tips & Tricks on May 9, 2009 by kingdomslivetipsWhile the flashy spells and ogre slayers may look as cool and tempting as an Escalade on the lot it may be better to simply equip your army with broad swords and leather armor. For the same money, and no upkeep your army will likely have a much higher attack and defence increase than spending your money on flashy spells.
Bottom Line: Keep a high “lowest common denominator” armor and weapons for your entire army. If you’re 6th level or above and still have some soldiers without weapons, armor or who just have daggers or flaming arrows start racking up some cash and getting better basic equipment.
